There is a drawback in the Indian politics. A lion's share of power is vested in the Legislature, hence it misuses its power to interpret the things in its own political interests which is often contrary to the spirit of our constitution compelling the judiciary to intervene in the interest of public and nation. Some of the clauses in our consstitution viz. 370 & reservation based on castes, creed or religion, have proved a self-hunting weapon for the unity of our countrymen. These must be abolished forthwith. The Indian politics now is influenced on money and not on the ideals. Leaders are depending on criminals and viceversa. They have indulged themeselves in looting public money and fetching to banks abroad. They use this money earned by corruption to buy votes. The general public is hand to mouth and they induce it through this money. Thus they ensure their imcumbency in future also. I think the Appex Court and constitutional bodies will have to use its powers to curb the malpractices. The post of President of India is also inert however, to say, he is competent to set right every thing. Although the voters have actual power to set right these things by electing just representatives, but they have been divided into many segments by the politicians cleverly. If we see the politics in Uttar Pradesh, the BSP led government is building statues and memorials of stones wasting public money, but cunningly have induced the muslim voters who have a role to make a government. However such activities are against the Islam, because it is said 'But Parasti' (Moorti Pooja), which Islam does not accept. But then, why muslims vote for BSP. It is because to make the power of unity and votes for others' realisation. This type of politics must go must go from our country.
